Senior Social Media Account Executive & Project Manager

The Senior Social Media Account Executive/Project Manager is responsible for delivering social media marketing projects for our clients. You would be optimizing, maintaining, monitoring and leading the social media platforms and any marketing strategies carried out in them. You would also be responsible for: content marketing creation and management, community engagement, social commerce, fan building, contests and campaigns, reports on online positioning/reputation and results, brand representation, and playing a brand consulting/advising role with regard to the online environment.

You would also be comfortable operating at a client user level as well as executive level.

Key Duties

  • Build and maintain client relationships to meet and exceed sales goals for them.
  • Hands-on interaction within social media presences.
  • Use of a toolkit to measure and monitor social activity – find out what works, tweak and improve communications, tactics and campaigns.
  • Close liaison with other parts of the organization to ensure aligned marketing and online marketing strategy is being delivered.
  • Respond and react to changes within social networks – functionality, etiquette and reporting.
  • Monitor and present relevant data, trends, successes, exceptions and so on.
  • Utilise great web etiquette skills to ensure you deliver the right message online, help people, stimulate discussions, encourage debate etc. real time content writing, online discussion, interactions etc. Creative input on content, ideas on social media viral marketing.
  • Negotiate with clients, solving any problems and making sure deadlines are met.
  • Meeting regularly with clients.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy for numerous accounts that define how techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic.
  • Work and brief the creative team to develop campaigns and approaches that bring ideas to life.
  • Keeps apprised of clients’ brands, programmes, services and marketing developments.
  • Assist in design and deployment of integrated marketing programs and innovative technology solutions based on clients’ business objectives and brand strategy.
  • Create engaging and professional visuals with the collaboration of the designing and creative team that reflect client and their brand (Customize social media pages (ex. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube), develop supporting offline collateral, create original content, etc).
  • Research new technologies and tactics to engage audiences on social platforms.
  • Keep UpToDate with social media trends & tools
  • Produce reports on client projects, analysing campaign performance and making recommendations on how clients can increase their ROI in social media.
  • Manage and delegate tasks to junior level social media account executive assistants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Saudi National.
  • Marketing or Business Administration educational background.
  • Proven working experience of four years minimum in digital marketing account management.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in project management and marketing.
  • Working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns including Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Linkedin.
  • Excellent internal communication, analytical and inter-personal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
